Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright-designed art-glass windows, the Martin House dinnerware is a limited-edition exclusive to the Wisteria Shop. Originally created in 2001 to mark the centenary of Buffalo China, a company first incorporated as Buffalo Pottery by John Larkin and Darwin D. Martin to manufacture premiums for the Larkin Soap Company. Buttercup yellow, willow green and wheat tan are interpreted here from the windows of the Martin House conservatory. Black lines represent the "caming" that gives structure to leaded glass windows. The creamy-white of the background is the natural color of the clay. Exceptionally durable, the entire dinnerware collection is oven, microwave and dishwasher safe. Each place setting includes a dinner plate, salad plate, mug and cereal bowl.
